This is a friendly message from the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
We need your immediate assistance! On March 15, 2020, Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act is set to expire. This deadline gives us a great opportunity to get some transparency and accountability in the foreign surveillance system and end dragnet phone record surveillance once and for all. But, with a decent reform bill stalled in the House Judiciary Committee, pro-surveillance politicians have a chance to push for a straight-up reauthorization of these invasive surveillance powers. Write to your elected officials and tell them enough is enough, vote NO on any “clean” reauthorization of Section 215. Thank you, Matthew Guariglia Activism Team | Electronic Frontier Foundation
